AURORA | The first of the Division I dominoes on the Eaglecrest offensive line fell June 23, when Jake Wiley announced his verbal commitment to the University of Colorado.

The 6-foot-5, 250-pound Wiley was an All-Mount Wilson League selection last season for the Class 5A state runner-up Raptors. He took to social media to make his announcement.

Wiley’s linemates, senior Barrett “Bear” Miller and junior Reece Atteberry, both have garnered significant DI interest as well. The trio provides an excellent foundation for new Eaglecrest coach Dustin Delaney.
