AURORA | Centennial League league play is the ultimate classroom and the young Overland boys basketball team has been learning lessons the hard way.

The Trailblazers suffered their second tight conference loss in a week, letting a chance to beat Arapahoe on their home floor slip away in a 44-39 defeat Friday night at Overland High School.
Three single-digit quarters spelled doom for Overland, which got 11 points from junior T’Aren Williams, 10 from freshman De’Ron Davis and eight from sophomore Austin Conway. The Trailblazers dropped to 10-3 overall and 2-2 in the Centennial League.
Evan Walsh finished with a game-high 14 points for Arapahoe, which improved to 10-3 and 2-2 as well.
