AURORA | In continual change brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, the boys and girls state basketball championships and competitive spirit finals will move to Colorado Springs.
World Arena is set to be the host site for two multi-day, multi-classification events in March according to an announcement Thursday from Colorado High School Activities Association Commissioner Rhonda Blanford-Green.
All five classes of boys and girls basketball championship games will be played over two days March 19-20, while the spirit championships run March 25-27. The higher classifications of basketball and spirit had decided titles at Denver Coliseum in recent years.
