Regis Jesuit 69, Canton McKinley (Ohio) 40 — Recap: The lone game on the schedule for Aurora teams on MLK Day took place in Berlin, Ohio, where the Regis Jesuit girls basketball team played the second game of a quick trip to the Classic in the Country. Coach Carl Mattei’s Raiders suffered their first loss of the season in the previous game, but had little trouble with Canton McKinley in improving to 12-1 overall. Junior Justine Hall finished with a team-high 23 points for Regis Jesuit, which raced out to a 22-7 lead through the first quarter and allowed single digits in the first two quarters to a team that came in with a 10-3 record. Jordyn Molyneaux added 13 points and Diani Akigbogun nine for Regis Jesuit, which cruised to victory ahead of returning to play in Colorado against Littleton on Tuesday.
