2021-22 average: 12.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.8 blocks, 4.3 assists, 2.4 steals
Season highlights: Coach Howard Payne’s Vista PEAK missed the Class 5A state playoffs in the coronavirus-shortened 2021 season, but returned this season and won a first round game before it was stopped in the second round by eventual quarterfinalist Cherry Creek. Jones missed the opening portion of the season and she continued her recovery from a major knee injury, but rejoined the Bison on the other wide of winter break and helped lead them to the EMAC championship. Jones finished as the team leader in rebounds (8.5 rpg) and blocked shots (4.8 bpg) and finished second in scoring at 12.4 points per game on her way to All-EMAC first team honors. The recent University of Denver commitment (story) had six double-doubles and one triple-double (15 points, 15 rebounds, 10 blocks), which came against Rangeview in a game that decided the league title. Jones earned selection into the A-Town All-Star Game for a second straight season, but was unable to play in 2021 due to injury.
