Season highlights: Coach Tammi Traylor-Statewright’s Cherokee Trail team missed the Class 5A state playoffs in the coronavirus-shortened 2021 season, but won 10 games and returned to the postseason and won a first round contest. On a team that had young, emerging talent, Culbreath — who played on the varsity for a fourth straight season — was one of the veteran presences and played at a level that earned her a place on the All-Centennial League second team. She improved her scoring average by more than double from her junior year to 9.2 points per game (with her season-high of 20 points coming against Northfield), which ranked her second for the Cougars, and she led the team with 34 made 3-pointers. Culbreath a first-time A-Town All-Star Game selection.

Culbreath vs. Aurora teams: vs. Regis Jesuit (5 points, 2 rebounds); vs. Grandview (6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals); vs. Eaglecrest (14 points, 3 rebounds); vs. Overland (16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals); vs. Eaglecrest (3 points); vs. Smoky Hill (8 points, 2 assists, 2 steals)
