JADA MOORE
School: Regis Jesuit High School
Year: Junior
Height: 5-foot-10
2018-19 averages: 9.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.3 steals
Season highlights: Regis Jesuit seemed in its best position in quite some time to win another Class 5A state championship, but coach Carl Mattei’s Raiders ran into a roadblock in the semifinals in budding local rival Grandview. Regis Jesuit looked unstoppable at times throughout the season and the play of Moore had a great deal to do with it, as she spearheaded the team’s halfcourt sets and also was supremely effective in transition. Moore finished third on the team in scoring with an average of 9.4 points per game, with her season-high of 22 coming in a lopsided playoff win against Denver East, while she paced the team with an average of 4.2 assists and also finished second with 2.3 steals per contest. Moore, an All-Continental League honoree, will play in the A-Town All-Star Game for the first time, though she was selected and unable to play last season.
Moore vs. Aurora teams: vs. Grandview (8 points, 4 rebounds); vs. Cherokee Trail (2 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists)
