2018-19 averages: 12.7 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.9 blocks
Season highlights: Joining a team that was in the midst of a run of back-to-back Class 5A state championships and three straight Final Fours, Betts asserted herself from the get-go in her freshman season for coach Josh Ulitzky’s team. The 6-foot-7 post player went through some rough patches as all young players do, but she got stronger as the season went along and she ended up as the Wolves leading scorer (12.7 points) and rebounder (8.6 rebounds) per contest as she helped them all the way to the cusp of another state championship. Betts blocked seven shots in a two-point championship game loss to Cherry Creek and she finished with a 5A-best 108 total blocks (average of 3.9 per game) to affect the game in many ways on her way to All-Centennial League accolades and a spot as the only freshman to make the A-Town All-Star Game.
