Season highlights: Coach Robby Gabrielli’s Eaglecrest team returned to the Class 5A playoffs and it was aided by a full season of contributions from Ross, who played in just the last five games last season. The younger sister of former Eaglecrest boys standouts Colbey and Elijah, Ross showed some shooting ability to her own as she knocked down a team-best 22 3-pointers (with 16 games with at least one triple) and averaged 6.5 points (topped by a 15-point effort in a Centennial League win over Smoky Hill) to finish second on her team. She added 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest for the Raptors on her way to her first trip to the A-Town All-Star Game.
