2017-18 averages: 15.1 points, 2.1 steals, 1.5 assists per game
Season highlights: Under new head coach Howard Payne, Evans helped the Bison to a 17-7 record, the East Metro Athletic Conference championship and a home game in the Class 4A state playoffs. The All-EMAC first team selection did most of her damage with her outside shot, which helped her average 15.1 points per game to rank second on the team. Evans knocked down 26 3-pointers on the season — more than double the next highest total for the Bison — and had the last shot that would have won Vista PEAK’s playoff game against Cheyenne Mountain, but it was off the mark. She scored in double figures in 22 of 24 games with a season-high of 31 points coming against Westminster and she also averaged 2.1 steals — third-most on the team — and 1.5 assists per contest. Evans is a first-time A-Town All-Star Girls Game selection.
Evans vs. Aurora teams: vs. Smoky Hill (21 points, 5 assists); vs. Aurora Central (13 points, 2 steals); vs. Rangeview (15 points); vs. Gateway (16 points, 2 steals, 2 assists); vs. Hinkley (12 points, 8 steals)
