NOELLE CAHILL

School: Regis Jesuit High School

Year: Senior

Height: 6-foot-2

2017-18 averages: 6.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 blocked shots per game

Season highlights: Cahill provided a steady dose of leadership to a Regis Jesuit team that had significant youth and was one of the driving forces behind a 24-4 season that saw coach Carl Mattei’s Raiders fall to Grandview in the Class 5A state championship game. The All-Continental League second team selection played a vital role as paint protector as well as frontcourt mate to Fran Belibi, a combination that proved too much for many opponents from a size and passing standpoint. Cahill gave up volleyball to dedicate herself to basketball and it paid off as she averaged 6.3 points per game (with a high of 21 against Heritage), along with 5.3 rebounds and earned a scholarship offer that she accepted from Penn. She also contributed 1.2 assists and nearly a blocked shot per game. Cahill is a two-time A-Town All-Star Girls Game selection.

Cahill vs. Aurora teams: vs. Grandview (4 points, 7 rebounds; 9 points); vs. Cherokee Trail (6 points, 4 rebounds)
