Season highlights: Turner did a lot of everything for coach Robby Gabrielli’s Eaglecrest team, which finished 9-15 and again qualified for the Class 5A state playoffs, where it nearly pulled off a first-round upset. Turner played her way onto the All-Centennial League second team in a junior campaign in which she led her team in scoring at 10.4 points per game, which was 4.3 more per contest than the previous season. Turner’s season-high of 22 points came against Douglas County prior to winter break and she had 11 double-digit scoring efforts on the season. She also finished second on her team in steals (2.2) and assists (1.4) per game, while she added 3.8 rebounds per contest. Turner is a first-time A-Town All-Star Game selection.
