Season highlights: Coach Rick Harris’ Smoky Hill team added 10 to the win column this season — after winning just eight games total in the previous three seasons combined — which was aided by an influx of young talent. McNeal returned to the team after missing last season and she was a strong all-around contributor for the Buffaloes, who she led in rebounding (7.4 rpg) and blocked shots (2.9 bpg) in addition to a scoring average of 6.7 points per game that ranked fourth. She had three of double-doubles on the season, including a 13-point, 14-rebound effort against Overland, while she nearly missed a triple-double against Legacy with 10 points, 10 blocks shots and nine rebounds. McNeal earned selection to the A-Town All-Star Game for the first time.
