Season highlights: In her first season as Regis Jesuit’s head coach, Jordan Kelley had a young, talented core that went 15-9 and kept up the program’s tradition of making it to at least the Sweet 16 round of the Class 5A state playoffs for a sixth consecutive season. Belibi got extensive time on the Raiders team that lost in the state championship game in 2021 and her game grew by leaps and bounds as a sophomore when she led her team in scoring (14.2 points per game) and rebounding (8.1 per game). On a team with several prolific 3-point shooters, Belibi ranked fourth with 30 makes and she made three in a game on four occasions, the last of which came in a Sweet 16 loss to Chaparral in which she had a season-high 24 points, while she also had 22 in a head-to-head matchup with state champion Grandview. Belibi — an All-Continental League first team selection — finished with seven double-doubles on the season that included four in the Raiders’ final five games. Belibi earned her first selection to the A-Town All-Star Game, while her older sister, Francesca (who now plays for Stanford), played in the game in three consecutive seasons (2017, 2018 and 2019).
