Season highlights: Coach La Monte Weddle’s Rangeview team tied for the most wins among any Aurora team with 18 (along with Class 5A state champion Grandview), came in as the EMAC runner-up and made it to at least the 5A Sweet 16 for the fourth straight season. West was a driving force for the Raiders, even though she didn’t have to score as much given the supporting cast around her this season. Still, she was Rangeview’s most explosive scorer and average 15 points per game, a mark she exceeded in both of the team’s 5A playoffs games (scoring 22 in a 2nd round win over Denver East and 27 in a Sweet 16 road loss at eventual semifinalist Highlands Ranch). From a guard position, West also led the team in rebounding at 8.0 per game and she finished with 10 double-doubles on the season, including a 14-rebound performance against Vista PEAK in a game in which she also had a season-high 28 points. She tied for the team lead in steals per game at 3.4 and finished second in assists at 2.6 per contest. West is a two-time A-Town All-Star Game selection who was unable to play in 2021.

West vs. Aurora teams: vs. Eaglecrest (12 points, 10 rebounds); vs. Cherokee Trail (15 points, 6 rebounds); vs. Hinkley (22 points, 7 steals); vs. Vista PEAK (28 points, 14 rebounds); vs. Gateway (3 points); vs. Vista PEAK (15 points)
