Season highlights: Coach La Monte Weddle’s Rangeview team tied for the most wins among any Aurora team with 18 (along with Class 5A state champion Grandview), came in as the EMAC runner-up and made it to at least the 5A Sweet 16 for the fourth straight season. Sweetwine had the biggest impact in her fourth varsity season and played at a level that earned her a spot on the All-EMAC first team. Helped by the second-most made 3-pointers on the team (28), Sweetwine scored 20 or more points twice (including a season-high 21 against Adams City plus 20 in a win over Vista PEAK) to help increase her scoring by more than a full point from the previous season and she finished with an average of 10.9 points per contest to rank second on the team. She led the Raiders in assists per game with 2.8 and finished third with 2.7 steals per contest. Sweetwine earned her first selection to the A-Town All-Star Game.
