Season highlights: Coach Kenneth Laverock’s Gateway team won just one game in the coronavirus-shortened 2021 season, but upped that win total to six in 2022 with the help of a veteran core that included Hartsfield, who played her way onto the All-EMAC first team for her final prep season as her team’s leader in just about every category. She upped her scoring average from the previous season by nearly five points per game to 14, helped by three games of 22 or more points, which includes a season-high 23 against Westminster. She also came away with 4.3 steals and dished out 2.7 assists per game to lead her team in both categories, while she was third with an average of 4.9 rebounds per contest. Hartsfield is a two-time selection for the A-Town All-Star Game after she scored two points in the game held on her home floor at Gateway in 2021.

Hartsfield vs. Aurora teams: vs. Vista PEAK (11 points, 7 steals, 4 rebounds, 3 assists); vs. Rangeview (7 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals); vs. Hinkley (22 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals)
