Season highlights: The Grandview girls basketball team has risen to the level of one of the elite programs in Class 5A and it’s no coincidence that Marlett has been there the entire way for coach Josh Ulitzky’s team. Thought the Wolves’ quest to win a third straight 5A state championship came up agonizingly short, Marlett had an outstanding season as she played in the state final for a third straight season and along with fellow senior Alisha Davis (another A-Town All-Star Game selection, who is unable to play) never had a varsity season end before the semifinals. The Air Force Academy recruit contributed a little bit of everything for Grandview and she had her best scoring production of her four varsity seasons as she averaged 10 points per game thanks to 14 double-digit contests, including a high of 18 points against Overland. Marlett also tied for the team lead with 3.3 assists, finished third in steals with 2.4 per game and ranked fourth in rebounding at 5.6 per contest on her way to All-Centennial League accolades and a second trip to the A-Town All-Star Game.

Marlett vs. Aurora teams: vs. Regis Jesuit (13 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals; 10 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists); vs. Overland (9 points, 4 rebounds, 5 steals; 18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals); vs. Smoky Hill (12 points, 4 rebounds, 5 steals, 3 assists; 16 points, 4 rebounds); vs. Eaglecrest (6 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals; 9 points, 9 rebounds); vs. Cherokee Trail (15 points, 8 rebounds, 6 steals, 3 assists; 9 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals);
