2017-18 averages: 4.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 0.9 steals, 0.7 blocks per game
Season highlights: In a league where big players are at a premium, Ekiko provided a solid paint presence for coach Rick Harris during Smoky Hill’s 1-22 season. Ekiko worked hard on her rebounding going into the season and it paid off as she averaged a team-high 5.0 rebounds per contest with an individual game season-high of 16 in a game against Standley Lake. Ekiko didn’t get a lot of shots in the Buffaloes’ offense, but cracked double figures twice and averaged 4.2 points per game. She also contributed close to a steal and blocked shot per game. Ekiko is a first-time A-Town All-Star Girls Game selection.
