Season highlights: Coach Keenon Clement’s Vista PEAK team earned its way into the Class 5A state playoffs for a 10th consecutive season and nearly pulled off an upset in the opening round before falling to Chatfield to end the season 11-13. Williams played an important role for the Bison, especially on the offensive end, where he increased his scoring from 4.0 points per game as a junior to a total of 11.7, which ranked second on the team. The All-EMAC first team performer — who finished with 27 made 3-pointers — scored 20 or more points on four occasions and established a season- and career-high with 26 points in an league contest against Gateway. He had the second-highest average of assists per game (2.2 apg) on his team, while he was third in rebounding at 3.4 per contest. Williams earned selection to the A-Town All-Star Game for the first time.
