Season highlights: Coach Ken Shaw’s Regis Jesuit team ended the season with 15 wins after it made it to at least the Class 5A Sweet 16 for a third straight season before losing to Chatfield. The Raiders lost a large group of contributors from a 2021 Great 8 team, so a lot fell on Fulcher as one of the returning players with significant experience. A great finisher through contact who could also knock down open shots from the perimeter, Fulcher took up a lot of the scoring slack by increasing his scoring average for 5.5 points as a sophomore to 14.6, which led the team. He scored 20 or more points five times (including a 20-point effort in the Raiders’ overtime road win over eventual 5A semifinalist Denver East) and the 22 he scored against Overland in the opener were his season-high. The All-Continental League second team pick also paced Regis Jesuit in assists (2.4 per contest) as well as steals (1.4 per contest). Fulcher earned selection to the A-Town All-Star Game for the first time.
