Season highlights: Coach Jarris Krapcha’s Eaglecrest team won the Centennial League championship and was just a few minutes again from making it to at least the Class 5A semifinals before falling to rallying Chaparral in the Great 8. Elmoutaouakkil earned Centennial League Player of the Year honors for a campaign in which he scored 20.1 points per game to rank third in the 5A classifications and was a large jump from the 13.5 that he averaged as a junior. He scored in double figures in every single game for the Raptors with a season-high of 30 points that came in a win over Arapahoe, while he also had 26 earlier in the season in a close loss against two-time state champion ThunderRidge. Elmoutaouakkil also finished second on his team with an average of 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.1 steals per contest. Elmoutaouakkil earned selection to the A-Town All-Star Game for the first time.
