Season highlights: Coach Michael Rogers’ Grandview team brought back Ramiro and a lot of components from the team that won last season’s Class 5A state championship and even though the Wolves weren’t able to repeat, they still won 19 games and captured the Centennial League championship. Ramiro upped his scoring average a bit from 7.6 points per game last season to 8.4 this season, boosted by seven double-digit scoring games and a 23-point effort in a win against Coronado. More than half of his made field goals for the season came behind the 3-point line, where he made 33 shots. His assists average dropped from the previous season, but he still ranked second with 2.9 per contest, while he tied for first with 1.3 steals per game and also contributed two rebounds on his way to making the All-Centennial League second team. Ramiro will play in the A-Town All-Star Game for the first time.
