TY ROBINSON

School: Eaglecrest High School

Year: Sophomore

Height: 6-foot-4

2018-19 averages: 12.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.9 steals

Season highlights: Robinson played in the majority of the games for coach Jarris Krapcha’s Eaglecrest team as a freshman and flashed glimpses of a versatile, high-flying game that rose to even more prominence in a season in which the Raptors went 15-10 and make the Class 5A Sweet 16. Robinson scored in double figures twice as a freshman, but did it 16 times in the new season — topped by a career-high 23 points in a win over Mullen — on his way to a 12.3 points per game average that ranked second on his team. He was second on the team with 31 made 3-pointers and also scored via a variety of dunks and acrobatic trips into the paint. He also snared 3.9 rebounds to finish third on his team, added 1.3 assists and nearly a steal per game as he earned a spot on the All-Centennial League second team. Robinson will play in the A-Town All-Star Game for the first time and also take part in the slam dunk contest.
