Season highlights: Harge avoided the injuries that had plagued him the past and played an important role for coach Anthony Hardin’s up-and-coming Smoky Hill team, which finished 18-8 and got the program to the Great 8 round of the Class 5A state playoffs for the first time in a decade. The versatile All-Centennial League second team selection played in 25 games and finished third on the team in scoring average at 12.3 points per game, including a season-high effort of 24 points against Cherokee Trail. Harge finished second on his team in rebounds (7.5 per game) and blocked shots (1.3 per game), tied for second in assists (2.1 per game) and posted a third-best average of 2.0 steals per contest.
