2017-18 averages: 8.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.1 steals per game

Season highlights: Wang played a varied and important role for coach Danny Fisher’s Overland team, which bounced back from a 1-7 start and went on to win the Centennial League championship and reach the Great 8 round of the Class 5A state playoffs. Wang averaged a career-low 8.2 points per game, but he had some explosive games, including a 21-point effort at the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas. While his scoring average was down, Wang’s other contributions increased as he finished second on the Trailblazers in rebounding at 5.3 per game, tied for third in steals at 1.1 per game and also contributed 1.3 assists while playing a key defensive role as well.
