Season highlights: Martinez played an important role for a Regis Jesuit team that finished 19-6 and made it to the Sweet 16 round of the Class 5A state tournament. One of three players for the Raiders with a scoring average in double figures, Martinez finished with an average of 11.9 points per game, which was just a shade under his career-best of 12 last season. The All-Continental League first team selection increased his contributions in every other statistical category as he led the team in steals per game (1.8), finished third in assists per game (1.7) and also finished fifth in rebounding at 3.2 per contest.
