Season highlights: In his second season on varsity, Jones took on a larger role and helped coach Wondame Davis’ Hinkley team double its win total to six in the 2019 season, while the Thunderbirds lost two other games by just six points. Jones took advantage of his opportunity, as the prolific outside shooter (who made 36 3-pointers on the season) boosted his scoring average to a team-high 12.9 points per game from 6.8 a season earlier, while also contributed a team-high 1.9 assists per game, in addition to 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest. Jones will play in the A-Town All-Star Game for the first time.
