Season highlights: Prim was a key piece to Grandview’s run to the 2018 Class 5A state championship and his return gave credence to coach Michael Rogers’ team as a legitimate repeat contender. The Wolves were stopped by eventual state champion Rangeview in the Great 8, but Prim scored 21 points in the defeat. As a senior, his average of 14.5 points per game — boosted by his high game of 27 points in Grandview’s season-opener against Lincoln — represented a rise of 1.2 from last season, while his team-leading rebounding average of 7.8 boards per contest also was higher than last season (7.6). His 1.3 steals per contest tied him for first on the team and he was fourth on a team that shared the basketball well with 2.0 assists per game. An All-Centennial League first team selection for the second straight season, Prim recently committed to Central Arizona. He will play in the A-Town All-Star Game for the second straight season.
