School: Grandview High School
2018-19 averages: 7.8 points, 3.7 assists, 1.9 rebounds, 0.9 steals
Season highlights: Walker’s arrival at Grandview as a transfer from Douglas County prior to last season helped coach Michael Rogers’ Wolves earned the program’s first Class 5A state championship. The veteran guard was part of another group that thought it had what it took to repeat before the Wolves were stopped in the Great 8 by eventual state champion Rangeview. With plenty of scoring options in Dayne Prim, Caleb McGill and Lian Ramiro — all A-Town All-Star Game selections — Walker didn’t need to score much, but contributed 7.8 points per contest, down just a shade from his average of the previous season. Walker became a bit more prolific from the outside and seven times made multiple 3-pointers in a game. His 3.7 assists per game marked an improvement as well and he was also good for nearly two rebounds and a steal per contest. Walker will play in the A-Town All-Star Game for the first time.
