Season highlights: Rock again played an even more important role for coach Anthony Hardin’s up-and-coming Smoky Hill team, which finished 18-8 and got the program to the Great 8 round of the Class 5A state playoffs for the first time in a decade. The All-Centennial League second team selection increased his scoring average by more than five points per game up to 13.2 points per contest, which was second on his team. Rock turned in a season-best 27-point effort in the Buffaloes’ Sweet 16 showdown win over Denver East. He finished second on the team in both assists (3.5 per game) and steals (2.2 per game).
