Season highlights: Safieddine played a central role for a Regis Jesuit team that finished 19-6 and made it to the Sweet 16 round of the Class 5A state tournament. In his second season on the varsity, Safieddine increased his scoring average from 10.2 points per game as a sophomore to a team-leading 13.8 as a junior thanks to double-digit scoring efforts in 19 of 24 games, including a season-high 27 points against Lakewood. The All-Continental League first team selection knocked down a team-high 45 3-pointers. Safieddine also led Regis Jesuit in assists per game with 3.8 and also contributed nearly a steal per contest.
