Season highlights: Oke emerged as an absolute force for coach Danny Fisher’s Overland team, which bounced back from a 1-7 start and went on to win the Centennial League championship and reach the Great 8 round of the Class 5A state playoffs. The All-Centennial League second team selection was credited with a double-double seven times on the season, including a 12-point, 16-rebound effort in a playoff win over Regis Jesuit. Oke’s emergence led to a scholarship offer from Metro State, which he recently accepted.
