Vroom service at the Holiday Inn on Abilene

Aurora firefighters were called to the Holiday Inn Express at 15oo S. Abilene St. after a guest inadvertently drove into the side of the hotel and practically into a room about 9 a.m. May 8. Officials said the structural integrity of the hotel wasn’t compromised by the gaffe. Front of the Audi didn’t fare too well. No word on whether the drive was injured. If you’re looking for a vroom with a view, better hurry, officials are putting up plywood until they can get the damage repaired.
