Vaughn was a four-year state qualifier in track and three years in cross Country and in only one of those qualifications he did not place. He still holds the school record in 1,600 and 3,200 meter runs. Vaughn went on to the University of Colorado on a track/cross country scholarship.
Christi Wiggs (Class of 1994): Wiggs was a three-sport athlete in basketball, cross country, and her main sport, soccer. An All-State first team soccer member, she went on to Colorado State University where, she led CSU to the National Collegiate Soccer Club Championship.
Chris Bouchard (Class of 1995): Bouchard posted a career wrestling record while at Overland of 120 wins and only 13 losses and won a state championship. During his freshman year, he placed third at the boys state gymnastics meet in the all-around competition before he turned his focus completely on wrestling. Bouchard earned a wrestling scholarship to the University of Wyoming and was a finalist in the Western Athletic Conference championship tournament.
Kyle Wiggs (Class of 1998): Wiggs lettered in wrestling, football, track and soccer and led Overland to a state championship in 1995 and semifinal finish in 1996. He was honored with two All-State first teams and named to the Adidas All-American West Regional Soccer Team. Austin Conway (Class of 2015): Conway was a standout in football and basketball at Overland and at the collegiate level. He helped lead the Overland basketball team to its first state championship and earned himself a spot on the Adidas US National Team that placed 4th in the Adidas World tournament. Conway’s prowess on the gridiron led him to a three-year All-State and All-Colorado recognition and an induction into the All-Colorado Football Hall of Fame. He earned a basketball scholarship to University of Wyoming and after a red shirt year, he concentrated on football, in which he was a three-year starter at wide receiver and punt returner.
