Quidnunc, whose name comes from the Latin “what now,” is out and about as often as possible to bring you news overheard in elevators, rest rooms and spied in various e-mail boxes.

QUID HAS HEARD that the shot heard ‘round the political world recently landed in the foot of an Aurora candidate for State House.
Seems that Aurora’s own Richard Bowman, who’s trying to snag the seat for House District 36 a third time, has taken sides in the notorious Colorado Capitol Me Too troubles , from earlier this year. On his newly remodeled campaign website, Bowman says a vote for him is a vote for his wife, Jeanette, too. Bowman hasn’t yet exactly explained who would wear the actually voting parts in the family if they make it to the House chamber. She’ll, however, bring the “heart” to the Capitol; he’ll bring the brains.
Bang. There goes the left foot.
It gets worse. He says Jeanette will be needed to stave off Me Too sex scandals from his career, such as those that have rained on the political parades of a bevy of lawmakers last year.
“No telling who might accuse this old fart of grabbing their butt or making a pass at them,” Bowman touts on his website. “Jeanette will be there to make sure there are no false allegations …”
Bang. And a shot into the right foot, too. Ouch.
Not only does Pepe Le Bowman tell voters that the ol’ butt-grabbing and “pass” pranks under the dome is worth only a good chuckle, he wants voters to know he thinks those danged Capitol gals just make all that stuff up anyways.
Bang. Bang. Bang. Third time’s a charm.
AND THAT’S ALL THE NEWS THAT FITS
