AURORA | A man who died after crashing the delivery truck he was driving in Aurora last week has been identified as 35-year-old Chadwin Greenwood, according to the Adams County Coroner’s Office.

Officials with the Aurora Police Department and Aurora Fire Rescue responded around 8:45 p.m. May 2 to the area near East 34th Drive and East 32nd Parkway on reports of a rollover crash, according to Aurora police.

First responders found a Penske delivery truck that had veered off the westbound lane of East 32nd Parkway and flipped over.

That area is just north of Interstate 70 and just east of the Walmart on Tower Road.

Authorities found a man, now identified as Greenwood, who had been ejected from the truck and pinned beneath it. He was declared dead at the scene.

The exact cause and manner of death are still under investigation, according to the coroner’s office.

Greenwood, who was a Denver resident, was the only person in the truck when it rolled. Police did not report any other injuries as a result of the crash.

Aurora police said distracted driving and failure to wear a seatbelt may have contributed to the fatal rollover.
