AURORA | Due to increasing rates of COVID-19, the Community College of Aurora will be conducting the first week of the semester remotely.
Classes will be online-only from Jan. 18-23, and on-campus instruction is scheduled to begin on Monday, Jan. 24, according to a news release from CCA. Support services on both campuses will be remote through Jan. 21.
For the spring semester, students and employees working on taking classes in-person are required to submit proof of vaccination to the college or agree to report weekly COVID-19 test results. The college did not originally require proof of vaccination but is updating its policies to try and reduce transmission on campus as case rates climb, according to information in its website.
