AURORA | Aurora police are looking for a person suspected of shooting and injuring two people in a hotel parking lot early Sunday morning.
Investigators said a man and a boy were each shot in the leg in the parking lot of La Quinta Inn and Suites on South Abilene Street at about 4:45 a.m. April 25.
Both of the people who were shot are expected to survive their injuries, police said in tweets.
Authorities did not provide any additional details on what may have precipitated the shooting.
The suspected shooter was seen in the area driving a white sedan, possibly a Volkswagen Jetta, according to police.
Detectives are asking anyone with potential information related to this incident to call the Denver Metro Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and be eligible for rewards up to $2,000.
