Shouldn’t the “against” gravestone have historical references, like the holocaust and the great purges of china and russia? ya know, the well-over 50,000,000 people who were left defenseless against their genocidal governments after sweeping gun laws were enacted in the 20th century?
Your argument lacks reason and logic. The French, Belgian, Dutch, Danish, Norvegian, British, Polish and Russian armies combined were powerless against the Nazis in the first stages of the war, despite their glory weapon arsenal. It took the concerted effort of one of the richest and most resourceful nations in the world to put some weight against the Nazis and defeat them. And you think arming the Jews with some guns and riffles would have prevented their almost complete extinction? Ridiculous. The usual gun-nut nonsense.
The sketch attacks the usual straw man. Some facts:
1) Gun bans in isolated cities are useless since you can purchase them outside those cities and bring them inside. So you need to ban them statewide, or better nationwide so the violator of the law passes borders with the purchased gun, and thus has the chance to be caught.
2) States with more restrictive gun laws have indeed a lower gun-related death rate.
3) Other developed countries with even more restrictive gun laws have a factor 100-1000 lower gun-related death rate.
So what is this comic-nonsense conveying? The same evidence-denying ignorance as usual. Yawn.
