The abysmally anti-Democrat cartoonist Dick Wright’s cartoon today, criticizing Joe Biden’s pardons, looks rather stupid now that we see how Trump handles the pardon power. Wright, of course, is shameless. He will pretend nothing happened and continue his character assassination of any Democratic politician who irks him no matter the truth.
We, though, have a clear picture of modern Republican values: Rioters, insurrectionists and traitors are their constituency. After all, maybe they’ll buy into one of their new scams and reward Trump the way he likes most, with fanatical and violent lawlessness and treason. Oh, and money. Lots of money. Just not the valueless crypto he flogs to dupes and fools, while he literally makes billions.
