A woman who pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge after police say she helped her boyfriend plan a robbery that left her boss dead will be sentenced Friday.
Lupe Rubio, 44, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit second degree murder in March.
Police and prosecutors say Rubio worked as an assistant manager at an apartment complex owned by Lyndsey Pham in 2010 when she helped her boyfriend Javier Agurre plot to rob Pham. During the robbery, police say Agurre killed Pham.
Agurre is wanted on a first-degree murder charge but has been on the run since the slaying.
Pham, who has been in jail since her arrest in 2010, faces between 10 and 25 years in prison.
I plan to be in court for the 9 a.m. hearing and will post updates here and on Twitter, @sentinelbrandon.
