Quid has seen the Aurora City Council’s group photo and wonders who in the city forgot to buy a working copy of Photoshop. The image that appears on the city’s website is meant to present the council in a presentable way, and in a good light that the good folks on that council should be seen in. However, the light is a little too good, and the results are a little unnerving. Shadows seen on the floor look like we’ve been transported to the Star Wars planet of Tattooine with two suns.

Speaking of frightening, Quid has seen something he can’t un-see. A recent visitor to the offices of the Sentinel left something we wish he wouldn’t have. It’s not for us to go lowbrow here, but we’ll say that he didn’t quite make it to the restroom — conveniently within arm’s reach of the elevator. For the record, the restrooms here will be closed to the public now and forever, and if the offending “deposit” was in response to a recent column or story, Quid would like to remind readers that letters to the editor are still totally acceptable forms of communication.

AND QUID HAS HEARD That “Grade A” voting has begun. Although you can’t necessarily vote for your favorite columnist in the Aurora Sentinel (me), we’d ask that you tell us where your favorite barbecue restaurants and local haunts are so we can share it with our readers.

And that’s all the news that’s fit to print.
