Kim Davis

I will never be able to unsee this pathetic woman and twisted Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, jubilant over abusing fellow Kentucky residents, just like so much of the South did blacks for eons. Probably one of the most chilling and repugnant images in my lifetime.

15 Nov 1960, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA --- Women at William Franz Elementary School yell at police officers during a protest against desegregation at the school, as three black youngsters attended classes at the school for the second day. Some carry signs stating "All I Want For Christmas is a Clean White School" and "Save Segregation Vote, States Rights Pledged Electors" --- Image by © Bettmann/CORBIS

I feel so sorry for the majority of proud Kentucky residents who see this scary sham for what it is: abuse of gays, abuse of Christianity and and abuse of the U.S. Constitution. Since good sense and tolerance don’t have a prayer in Rowan County, we can only hope our system of government prevails, just like it did across the South the last time this sickness surfaced.

“It is very appropriate that from this cradle of the Confederacy, this very heart of the great Anglo-Saxon Southland, that today we sound the drum for freedom as have our generations of forebears before us time and again down through history. Let us rise to the call for freedom-loving blood that is in us and send our answer to the tyranny that clanks its chains upon the South. In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny, and I say segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.” — Alabama Gov. George Wallace, 1963.

  1. Religious freedom does NOT mean the freedom to impose your religious views on others, and especially not if you are a Government official. The Constitution and historical precedent couldn’t be clearer on this point. Why is it that the same folks who rant about protecting us from Sharia Law want to impose a Christian version of the same sort on America?

      1. Don’t you imagine, when taking this position, there were not laws allowing marriage between same sex couples? Want her to resign, okay, then shout that loud and clear to the WH and their Justice Department.

          1. The WH and the JD have not enforced any laws they do not agree with.

You liberals will be the downfall of this once great country, with your political correctness run wild, ‘anything, anytime, anywhere’ beliefs, cops are the bad guys, drug dealing criminals are given protests and marchs, demands to be compensated, as with Baltimore and St. Louis, you’re all nuts.

          2. Jesus is a savior, want to add Obama to his grace? Jefferson was a slave owner. ‘executive privilege’ does not include enforcing only the laws you deem fair or warranted, although your guy has used that particular option far too many times, to put into place encompassing law, that affects far too many. Freddie Gray, Baltimore, cops under indictment, just received $6.4 MILLION dollars from the city, a known drug dealer, long rap sheet, banged his head on the side of the police van and was injured, still got the money. And btw, his ‘father’ or ‘sperm donor’ received $600,000.00 just because of his donation, he never lived with the mother, was not a father to ‘dear Freddie’ ever. ‘talkin’ out my ass’?

Torture? Waterboarding? I’d have hung them by the testicles to get information about real terrorists, you know, the ones you think deserve our freedoms just because they are, idiot.

          3. Please: Meds, food, nap. You need some warm milk or something- you seem a little ‘uptight’? Hot cocoa would probably do the trick, and go ahead, put some little marshmallows in it.

          4. Another goo man rant. Sounds like something from the National Inquirer no doubt a goo man favorite. What a testicle.

          5. “You liberals”? Seems goo man’s conception of what constitutes a great country has him making the usual gurgling noise sounds.

“Political correctness run wild”. You heard it here folks. From the mouth of a wing nut extraordinaire, a goo man gone nuts.

    1. She is NOT imposing anything on anyone, she is refusing to obey a law she does not agree with because of her religious beliefs. Think that wrong, then, tell me why there are sanctuary cities, legalized dope, illegal lawbreakers with drivers licenses? Didn’t think so.

      1. “Sanctuary city” only means that you allow the Federal government to enforce immigration law, as is proper. The Feds are notified of your custody, but you are not held indefinitely waiting for them. Once an individual has fulfilled the demands of local law enforcement, they are free to go (as is proper per Supreme Court decisions).

“Dope?” Cannabis was legalized by direct will and vote of the people.

“Illegal lawbreakers w/ licenses”? What does that mean? If you mean undocumented immigrants, well, of course we want anyone driving to be licensed and insured. If something happens, then normal procedures apply- see my response to “Sanctuary city” above. Be glad they have a license and insurance to pay for damages!

        1. NO, you be ‘glad’. Broke into the country, and now have legal drivers licenses, horseshit, insurance indeed, in a pigs ass.

        2. Why aren’t they ‘enforcing’ the illegally marijuana laws? You talk out of both sides of your mouth, like most liberals, agree when it suits your agenda.

      2. It’s not a law, it’s the United States Supreme Court declaring who is legally entitled to get married in this country. She can disagree all she wants, but her sphere of influence ends at the door of her church. Inside they can discriminate all they want. Out in the USA, there’s a different standard, and if she’s not willing to live up to her oath of office, she needs to clear out and make way for someone who will.

  2. She was expressing her religious beliefs. You want to make her out to be completely wrong and even racist for those beliefs. I would imagine, when she first took that job, there weren’t homosexual marriages on the books, therefore, her beliefs are justified, and should not be criticized.

    1. And when 18 year-olds got the right to vote- did we have to wait until all the dinosaurs died before they were allowed to exercise their rights? Her beliefs, on a religious basis, make about as much sense as any religion- very little. I, for instance, am a Pastafarian. “I have been touched by his noodly appendage.” AND IT FELT GOOD!

The First Amendment applies to everyone: Criticize away, and keep in mind that political speech is the most protected of all. If Kim Davis, that troll of a woman, doesn’t like it she can resign. Or cool her heels in jail, with the rest of the “illegal lawbreakers.”

      1. 12 to 15 MILLION ILLEGAL Aliens in this country, what jail are they in? Legalized dope in Colorado and Oregon, why aren’t they being arrested by the Federal Government? Lerner took the 5th, and now the IT guy for Hillary, can you say contempt? Why aren’t they in prison? No partner, you and the rest who think political correctness should be the rule are very wrong, your misaligned thought patterns at some point will get back in sync, until then, go shout it on a street corner, or perhaps join a ‘black lives matter’ protest.

          1. You speak Spanish Dave? You will soon, and that’s just the start with the Mexicans, next up , and coming soon, the Middle Easterners with their ‘cult’ religion, sharia law, like that too David?

          2. Mr. Goo, don’t worry, I’m pretty sure no one thinks you’re multilingual.

Speaking Spanish isn’t a bad idea- it’s good business. Mexico is our third largest trading partner, ahead of Japan, Germany, France…

Not many Middle East countries that I am aware of speak Spanish as a national language, but, those foreigners aren’t afraid to learn new things.

          3. Yeah, like bomb making, blowing up their children to kill other Muslims, living in dirt hovels, following a cult leader, Mohammad, to die for their 72 virgins, women as 2nd or 3rd class mules, yeah sure, you got it all figured out dopey, I was talking about us learning Farsi.

        1. This is an article about the county clerk in Kentucky. Your going way off the lot and talking about illegal aliens, legal pot and the IRS really don’t make a lot of sense in this context. But your misaligned thought patterns may not be capable of much more.

          1. I thought your position is the federal government does not enforce ALL laws. We have a multi-billion dollar industry that relies on the federal government not enforcing ALL laws.

          2. All of this goes hand in hand, perhaps you’re not intelligent enough to understand that, deciphering laws from rulings, from agreements, from treaties, from ‘deals’, they ALL become the LAW of the land. Determination by a body of judges is just that’ the final word in this country about what they decide is correct, according to their own personal interpretation of the constitution or law in question. And, adding to that, this body has become a political arm of both parties, where the majority ALWAYS rules in favor of the parties interests, so, my faith in our ‘supreme’ court has become ‘who’s in charge’ that’s the side that will win the argument, ever time.

        2. Did the goo man just mention thought patterns? Weird given he has none of his own, at least none worthy mentioning.

    2. She took an oath to fulfill the duties of her office. There was no clause in that oath that went something like “unless the laws change and I don’t like them, then I can do as I please.” I know it’s frustrating when your completely wrong arguments run up against facts and reality, but you really do need to back down and chill, goo goo.

  3. As a nearly lifetime resident of Aurora, I now am living in Kentucky. Life was good here, until this lunatic Davis showed her bigoted self. All news, printed and on t.v. is way over the top. However, many Kentuckians feel as I do. Her salary is $80,000 a year, her mother held the job for over 30 years. Davis rhen hired her son as a deputy clerk. Is this nepotism or what?? And she was elected by the county, which is still in the 1800’s. Why can’t she be booted out for not doing her job!! And who is paying her legal expenses. I wonder if her husband make moonshine. This whole thing makes me sick.

  4. Mr. Goo, I have no idea whether she’s racist, however she is homophobic.

She is free to espouse her religious beliefs in her home, her church, even on the public sidewalk. What she is not allowed to do is use her public office as a platform in which to do so.

She could always resign. But she doesn’t want to lose her $80,000 a year job. She’s been divorced four times already!

    1. the funny thing is the way people overlook the insanity of religions. How much support would the lone DMV worker get if they stopped issuing drivers licenses to women because of their strict interpretation of Islamic Law.

  5. So this woman and Huckabee wouldn’t stand around and be run over by political correctness, and you think it horrendous, and wrong. I think it having the courage to stand up against a wave of ‘anything goes’ in this once great country, hoorah for her and Huckabee!

    1. Note, “once great country”! What the hell is anything goes about? Oh yes. It’s those commie libs, homosexuals, illegals, women, Hillary, Bill, ect ect on and on. Goo man the oracle of gloom and doom. But he knows Jesus. Just ask him. Anything goes.
