EDITOR: I think we need to reinstate the two per thousand police staffing requirement right now instead of worrying about a new special training facility.

EDITOR: Aurora wants to do things like a small town with city problems. Council wants cooperation between denver rescuers, but they don’t cooperate at the elected level. Aurora police department has the most officers per capita (2 per 100) of any city in Colorado. Meanwhile, our fire/paramedics are the least staffed in Colorado with the highest number of emergencies per firefighter. They are the seventh lowest paid in Colorado. Councilman Bob LeGare needs to quit ignoring the safety needs of Aurora.
