EDITOR: This is for the Aurora City Council Members and Mayor Mike Coffman,
I want to make sure that I have this correct? You have a city and state virtually on lock down, with 90% of the businesses in Aurora closed or on skeleton crew, huge unemployment, rent will not be paid, bankruptcies impending, and the sales tax revenue will be severely reduced, yet you find it imperative at this time to change the oath by removing “so help me God?”
The good news for you guys is that there will be fewer restaurants when this is over, so they won’t have to worry about putting cola in the kids meal. Clearly, there must be more pressing issues, I mentioned a few, with which to deal then changing something that won’t even be used for 2 years.
So, obviously it’s your social agenda above all else, I not only question your priorities, I think they are ridiculous, and contemptible.
This is just one man’s opinion while maintaining his “Social Distance” as a shut-in.
I normally close with “respectfully,” however, I will reserve that for when you earn it.
