Joe Lewis for Aurora City Council Ward IV
EDITOR:
Joe Lewis and I have been friends through Scouting for about 20 years and have discussed his beliefs about the city and the issues the city and its residents face in great detail. Joe will be a breath of fresh air on City Council. Joe has thoroughly studied and understands the issues. His main focus will be doing what is best for the people of Ward IV and the city in a moral and ethical manner. Joe will actively seek out and listen to the concerns of his constituents and will represent the people well. I wholeheartedly endorse Joe Lewis for Aurora City Council Ward IV and urge you to cast your ballot for him in the upcoming election.

I live near the Iliff Street Station. I am concerned about congestion that already exists in the area and with pedestrian access to the light rail from Xanadu way…North or South.. Walking by the I 225 entrance and exit ramps are not pedestrian friendly. In fact, just getting to Iliff off Xanadu Way, after a snow storm can be too icy to physically negotiate. How does RTD expect citizens to navigate the streets. And, where is the bridge to the station on Iliff? From yesterday’s debate, you seem to be a bit more citizen friendly, than giving everything to developers. As an Aurora resident since 1983, that is unusual.
Thank you for participating in the debate with Mr. Richardson on Channel 8 yesterday.
