DEAR EDITOR: Every horrible and disgusting abuse of power, inhumane policy, security crisis, obstruction of Congress and racist encouragement revolves around Trump. We cannot simply fight each instance of wrong-doing as if we were living in normal times.
Impeachment now is absolutely essential. Political decisions to slow walk, negotiate regarding subpoenas and failure to use legitimate powers of oversight play right into Trump’s hands.
Impeach now. Hold public televised hearings of all witnesses. Finalize contempt charges against Barr, McGahn, Mnuchin and Ross. Use fines, censure and the most severe penalties at House disposal.
As much as I want progressive bills to be passed, nothing is more important than holding Trump accountable. No one should be above the law. We are inches and moments away from our country becoming a fascist dictatorship. I urge Rep. Crow to support impeachment hearings now!
