Billie Day for APS Board

The fact that Billie Day is running for the APS Board of Education is, indeed, good news. Billie has a long history of interest in, and appreciation of, education. She taught high school social studies for many years.
In addition, she has traveled widely and has friends overseas. Her in-depth understanding of other cultures would be a valuable asset when considering the many countries and languages that constitute the background of our students.
Billie has other interests, also, such as the Symphony Guild, and she is blessed with abundant energy.
Altogether, an outstanding candidate.
