Ann Romney needs to star in her own unreality show.
We will not eat cake, Ms. Romney, and I’m glad that Obama continues to insist that Mitt show the world just how much he really did pay in taxes on his wealth.
As to Obama’s insistence that Mitt’s ever-changing political policies are at this point the embodiment of the absolute worst of the Bush Era, Obama is finally acting presidential in his moderate criticism. I can absolutely guarantee that if Mitt were to get elected, and if the Congress were to let him have his way with what his policies are this week, I and 99 percent of the rest of country would be much worse off, in the short run and especially in the long run. Romney represents exactly what got us into this mess in the first place.
Obama needs to channel his inner Hillary Clinton and strike back hard at the preposterous exaggerations and untruths that the rabid right tries to pedal as political policy.
The last thing this country needs is another spoiled-rich frat boy bored with his life and wife and wanting to play captain of yet a bigger boat. Romney made clear his true colors when trying to out-right rabid lunatics like Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum. I’ve seen too many jobs go overseas to assuage U.S. corporate profits. We need to put Mitt off so he can go abroad to visit his money, not important allies.
Romney’s wife says voters will ‘fire the coach’
WASHINGTON | Mitt Romney’s wife is reinforcing her husband’s refusal to make public more of his of tax returns, saying “we’ve given all that people need to know” about the family’s finances.
Ann Romney tells ABC News she thinks the Obama campaign’s attacks on her husband have been “beneath the dignity of the presidency.” And she says people will decide whom to vote for based on whether their lives would be better under Mitt Romney than President Barack Obama.
She says she believes voters are “going to fire the coach.”
Ann Romney says the family gives 10 percent of its income to the Mormon church and he took no salary during his four years as Massachusetts governor. She says that should be enough to put aside people’s concerns about his finances.
